Talanto is seeking a Senior Director to lead the next generation of its Data-as-a-Service platform, building the semantic foundation that connects data with business meaning. You will guide senior engineers and leaders, partnering with Product, AI, Analytics, Risk, and Finance across the company.

The role emphasizes deep data/platform experience, strong technical judgment, and inventing the next generation of enterprise data platforms in an AI-native world.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, distributed systems, data platforms, or related areas.
• Proven experience leading engineering organizations for large-scale data/platform initiatives.
• Deep understanding of modern data architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong background in semantic data technologies and semantic data layers.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, architecture, and multi-year roadmap for the semantic data platform and DaaS.
• Build semantic business objects linking data, context, relationships, metrics, and governance.
• Scale semantic object creation across lines of business while preserving standards.
• Lead platform capabilities across semantic modeling, ontology, metadata, knowledge graphs, data quality, and governance.
• Collaborate with business and product leaders to capture enterprise data meaning.
