Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics leader to drive BI, reporting, analytics, and automation. You will build scalable dashboards and models, modernize processes by moving to cloud platforms, and develop Power Apps to replace legacy Access frontends.

You will ensure data quality and governance, mentor team members, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver multi-project outcomes, including supply chain analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Math or related fields required.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL, relational databases, enterprise data warehouses, and dimensional data modeling.
• 6+ years of experience with procedural programming languages, preferably Python and VBA, including development, automation, and support of business applications and reporting solutions.
• SQL proficiency.
• Python proficiency.
• Microsoft Power BI and DAX Formula Language proficiency.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and modernizing reporting and analytics platforms, including Microsoft Access/Excel and cloud-based analytics environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of business intelligence, reporting, analytics, and automation solutions
• Develop scalable dashboards, analytical models, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
• Modernize legacy applications by migrating business processes and reporting to cloud-based platforms
• Develop Microsoft Power Apps to replace Microsoft Access frontend applications
• Drive data analysis, process improvement, and automation initiatives
• Ensure data quality, governance, and system reliability through proactive monitoring and root cause analysis
• Manage projects while partnering with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on development standards and emerging technologies
• Gather requirements and define success criteria with business stakeholders
• Translate operational needs into analytical and reporting solutions
• Expand technical expertise through training, research, and evaluation of emerging technologies
• Support Aftersales Supply Chain operations across inventory management, forecasting, supplier management, logistics, and warehouse operations
