Big Sky Care Connect is seeking a Director of Analytics & Data Science to lead the statewide analytics platform and a high‑performing team. You will drive strategic data science research and collaborate with provider, payor, and state partners to build analytics products that create value across the Montana HIE network.

In this remote role, you will oversee platform operations, ensure data quality and governance, and mentor staff while aligning with executive goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree and 5 years in data science/analytics with leadership experience.
• PhD may substitute for part of experience.
• Preferred: experience in health information exchange or healthcare analytics.
• Proficiency in statistical programming and data governance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead BSCC's analytics platform and team to deliver data/analytics services.
• Oversee platform operations, data quality, availability, and performance.
• Coach and develop analytics staff; set priorities and growth plans.
• Establish workflows, docs, and quality-control processes.
• Manage analytics vendor relationships and roadmaps with Tech & Ops.
• Set budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for analytics.
• Partner with executives to deliver partner-focused analytics products.
• Translate research into deployable analytics products.
• Support onboarding of new partners onto the platform.
