Job summary

Guidehealth is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support data needs across clinical, operational, and leadership teams and client projects. You will gather requirements, access diverse data sources, and build incisive analyses to enable data-driven decisions.

You will present results to internal and external audiences and document methodologies for reproducibility. The role emphasizes collaboration, high-quality deliverables, and the ability to handle evolving requirements in a remote-friendly,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least three years of data analytics experience or a master's with independent research work.
• Proven problem-solving instincts and persistence in uncovering root causes.
• Experience analyzing healthcare data and familiarity with ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, DRG, NDC, revenue codes, and claim file layouts.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large, imperfect datasets and write maintainable queries.
• Proficiency in at least one analytics tool beyond SQL (Python or R).
• Experience building dashboards in modern BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of analytic needs across internal teams and clients, from quick questions to long-term engagements.
• Work with healthcare data sources to produce reliable, well-documented analytic datasets.
• Design, build, and deliver analyses to answer business and clinical questions from scoping to presentation.
• Own client builds end-to-end, define scope, develop, iterate, and maintain deliverables.
• Support value-based care analyses, including quality measures, risk adjustment, and cost trends.
• Validate results, investigate anomalies, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
