Job summary

Biotage, a leader in life science technologies, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Charlotte, NC. The role promotes Biotage products to Analytical Testing customers, driving consumable revenue and coordinating with account managers and field teams.

Responsibilities include lead generation, product demonstrations (virtual or live), quotations, and maintaining SFDC data to support accurate forecasting and territory growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry or related science preferred.
• 1+ years of inside sales experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in analytical chemistry or LCMS lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets in the assigned geography.
• Proactively contact analytical testing customers to promote, sell and increase consumable revenue.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for account and opportunity management and capture all activities.
• Maintain up-to-date account data and purchasing history for accounts in the territory.
• Support field team with SFDC entry, reporting and maintenance and coordinate opportunities.
• Own inside sales lead queues and timely lead follow-up for assigned regions.
• Provide timely follow-up and document results in Salesforce.
