Job summary

Pace is seeking a lab-based analyst in Indianapolis to support routine pharmaceutical analytical testing and experimental execution that drives drug product development. You will perform LC/HPLC/UPLC and LC‑MS analyses, prepare samples, and contribute to data interpretation and reporting.

The role emphasizes accurate pipetting, method-focused experimentation, and collaboration with scientists to advance projects in a regulated R&D setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
• Ability to perform high-volume, accurate, reproducible pipetting.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and learning agility.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication for data documentation.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ownership mindset with task prioritization.
• Interest in pharmaceutical science and drug product manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute sample testing using LC techniques (HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS) and related assays.
• Prepare samples, standards, controls, and reagents for testing.
• Perform accurate, precise pipetting to support testing quality.
• Organize, interpret, and present experimental data to peers.
• Run and evaluate experiments for method optimization and product development.
• Ensure experiments are well designed and documented with clear objectives.
• Manage small laboratory projects and drive improvements with data analysis.
• Document work in batch records and electronic lab notebooks.
• Collaborate across teams to share learnings and advance projects.
• Maintain a safe, clean laboratory environment and SOP adherence.
