Job summary

Henkel is seeking a laboratory leader in the Adhesive Technologies unit in the United States. The role focuses on corrosion and physical testing, ensuring ISO/SAE standards, and guiding teams in daily activities and long-term projects.

You will collaborate with customers and stakeholders to align project priorities, manage inventory and safety in laboratories, and provide technical guidance through strong critical thinking and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a laboratory setting with a focus in Corrosion and Physical testing preferred.
• Able to articulate and negotiate well with team and customers.
• Proficient in presenting at business and technical level.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with Laboratory Management System (LIMS).
• Statistical & Quality background.
• Proficient at reviewing ASTM, SAE, etc. methods for proper execution.
• Independent critical thinking for process improvements and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Team daily activities.
• Manage & participate in long-term projects.
• Coordinate with customers for priorities of projects.
• Manage and maintain Quality Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 17025).
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders for growth and planning.
• Maintain current ASTM, SAE, etc. to keep with current standards.
• Manage inventory, housekeeping and safety for laboratories.
• Track and highlight contributions through tours, newsletters, presentations, etc.
• Provide technical guidance through experience and critical thinking.
