Job summary

Henkel Corporation is seeking a laboratory leader for the Adhesive Technologies business unit in Minnesota. The role oversees lab operations, inventory, procurement of consumables, and onboarding of raw materials, while guiding cross-functional development for new technology products.

You will ensure compliance with corporate SHE standards, provide technical support to Manufacturing and Quality, and approve material readiness, first production specs, and performance tests.

Responsibilities

• Manages laboratory functions, including inventory tracking, purchasing of consumables, and raw material onboarding
• Identifies and develops new approaches, solutions, processes, products, methods within an agreed timeframe
• Ensures compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures and manages the lab and innovation process
• Provides technical support services to Manufacturing and Quality as required
• Executes process developments to support cross-functional teams to achieve completion of new technology products consistent with strategic objectives
• Provides guidance and recommendations on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements
• Approves technical readiness of raw materials and products as well as first production and quality specs
• Tests or supervises tests on product stability and performance
• This role is fully onsite
