Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking an IT controls and finance professional to enhance SOX ITGCs, oversee vendor financials, and support budgeting and forecasting for the IT department.

You will partner with Accounts Payable and IT leaders to ensure accurate cost tracking, prepare variance analyses, and provide financial insights to drive strategic decisions across the IT organization.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for enhancing policies and procedures, internal operational and financial controls to drive policy and procedure adherence by vendors and IT teams to guide financial decisions for the entire NCLH IT department. Support IT department with all vendor inquiries. Support IT fiscal planning and budgeting processes, analyze financial statements and reports, develop projected spend models based on IT operational demand, and perform research and analysis as may be required by leadership.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and document IT business processes to maintain and strengthen SOX internal controls and ITGCs as applicable.
• Support fiscal operations including accruals, appropriate GL coding, and accurate accounting for all IT costs.
• Responsible for assisting in aggregating supporting evidence to drive internal department meetings across IT related to department budgeting, new vendor contracts, and various other operational needs (i.e., contractor resources, onboarding, etc).
• Request and review vendor statements and ensure proper and timely receiving.
• Liaison between Accounts Payable and vendor for any IT related costs and leads all vendor resolutions.
• Assist in capital projects financial reporting.
• Keep IT departments accountable by monitoring budgets, expenses, and communicating discrepancies or variances to management and department heads/budget owners.
• Support the team with data gathering required for preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts and report variances.
• Research and assist with preparation of variance analysis and explanations across the IT organization.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close process.
• Support financial management and controls for tracking spend at the vendor and project levels (including meeting capitalization goals).
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Benchmark future processes against industry best practices.
• Responsible for reviewing that all new vendor/contract requests are properly budgeted.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for vendor evaluation, selection, contract negotiation and provisioning.
• Review vendors to ensure that service levels, contract renewals, and benchmark clauses are being met.
• Perform other job‑related functions as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree.
• FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Accounting, Finance or related field.
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience required.
• Experience with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month‑end/year end close process.
