Job summary

TFI International is seeking an HRIS Analyst in Dallas to serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems. You will help ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple platforms.

You will support system enhancements, reporting, and security administration while collaborating with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations to advance payroll technology initiatives. This role emphasizes analytics, problem solving, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce systems.
• Experience with ADP Vantage, Kronos, or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel and data reporting skills.
• Understanding of payroll calculations and wage rules.
• Experience with SOX and system security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for payroll and HRIS configuration, security, and user access.
• Support system releases, testing, upgrades, and implementations across HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement tech solutions.
• Develop and maintain process docs, training materials, SOPs, and specs.
• Monitor integrations, workflows, security configs.
• Perform testing, audits, reporting, and data analysis for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations on payroll tech initiatives.
• Assist in identifying and resolving system/integration issues.
• Participate in special projects for payroll, HRIS, workforce management enhancements.

What You'll Do
As the HRIS Analyst, you will serve as a subject matter expert for payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems while helping ensure data integrity, compliance, and operational excellence. You'll support system enhancements, process improvements, reporting, and security administration across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities Include

• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and HRIS system configuration, security, workflows, and user access.
• Support system releases, testing, upgrades, and implementations across HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, SOPs, and technical specifications.
• Monitor and maintain system integrations, workflows, business structures, and security configurations.
• Perform testing, audits, reporting, and data analysis to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and Operations teams to support payroll and HR technology initiatives.
• Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and integration issues impacting payroll operations.
• Participate in special projects focused on payroll, HRIS, and workforce management enhancements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting HRIS, payroll, or workforce management systems.
• Experience with ADP Vantage, Kronos, or similar HCM and timekeeping platforms.
• Strong reporting and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience supporting system testing, user acceptance testing, security administration, audits, and ongoing production support.
• Understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping systems, wage and hour regulations, and payroll calculations.
• Experience working in union environments and supporting complex work rules is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Experience supporting large employee populations in a complex multi-site environment.
• Exposure to payroll, HRIS, or workforce management system implementations and enhancements.
• Understanding of SOX controls, system security, and compliance requirements.
