Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization, focusing on the design, test, manufacture, and mission support of advanced electrical subsystems for rugged battlefield environments.

You will contribute to analog electronics, high-efficiency power conversion, power distribution, flight termination/telemetry, and servo/motor control systems, taking concepts from design through lab integration and production support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
Experience or coursework in analog electronics, power electronics, power systems or control systems.
Experience simulating electrical circuits or engineering systems using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink.
Ability to communicate technical concepts via documentation or presentations.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry, power conversion modules, and power sub-systems.
Develop precision control systems including servo control loops and motor drives.
Architect flight termination/telemetry systems and data acquisition modules.
Model power system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
Support hardware integration, lab characterization, troubleshooting, and production test activities.
