Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite Hardware Electrical Engineer in the United States (US) to design, simulate, and test advanced analog electronics and power systems for battlefield environments. You will develop precision servo/motor control, power conversion architectures, and flight termination/telemetry systems from design through lab integration.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, experience with simulation tools, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
Experience or coursework in analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, or control systems.
Experience developing simulations or models using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent.
Experience documenting technical concepts through design specs or reports.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry, power conversion modules, and power sub-system architectures.
Develop precision control systems including servo loops and motor drives.
Architect flight termination/telemetry systems and data acquisition modules.
Model power system dynamics, EMI, harmonic controls, using PSPICE/LTspice/MATLAB/Simulink.
Support hardware integration, lab characterization, troubleshooting, and production test activities.
Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to meet specs.
Prepare technical documentation and test procedures.
