Job summary

RTX is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer to design, test, and support advanced electrical subsystems used in defense applications. You will work on analog electronics, power conversion, and precision servo systems across design through lab integration.

You'll collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability teams to ensure hardware meets specifications, maintain thorough documentation, and support production tests. The role requires an active U.S.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline.
Experience in analog electronics, power electronics, power systems, or control systems.
Experience modeling or simulating electrical circuits using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink.
Ability to communicate technical concepts through documentation or presentations.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry, power conversion modules, and power sub-systems.
Develop precision control systems including servo loops, motor drives, and digital feedback models.
Architect flight termination/telemetry systems and data acquisition modules.
Model power system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink.
Support hardware integration, lab characterization, troubleshooting, and production tests.
