Job summary

Six Flags in Marvin, NC is seeking a Level II maintenance technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and rehabilitate a variety of amusement rides. The role requires climbing at height, safe work practices, and availability for night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Candidates should have 4–6 years of mechanical maintenance experience, including at least 2 years on rides, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of control processors and real-time industrial networks.
• Skilled at reading one-line diagrams and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Experience maintaining amusement rides and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of rides and related equipment daily, weekly, monthly and annually.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and take corrective actions.
• Maintain repair documentation and inspection records and submit to supervision.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes, laws, and company policies.
• Liaise with supervisors, managers, staff, guests, vendors and inspectors as needed.
• Provide guest service following Six Flags standards when interacting with guests.
