Job summary

Six Flags Corp in Doswell, VA is seeking a Ride Maintenance Mechanic responsible for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and rehabilitation of amusement rides and attractions. The role requires climbing and working safely at heights, and shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of verifiable experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in amusement settings.
• Ability to read and apply manufacturer manuals and blueprints (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Coaster carpentry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of amusement rides and related equipment (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and tests of rides and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems and take corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and inspections and submit paperwork timely.
• Work safely at heights and coordinate with others to achieve results.
• Provide guest service in line with Six Flags standards.
