Job summary

Dave & Buster's is seeking an Amusement Manager to lead our Game Technicians and keep our arcade and VR games in ideal playing condition while delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced restaurant/entertainment setting. You will hire, train, and develop the tech team, ensure safe, sanitary environments, and strive for 100% game playability.

Expect weekend/evening shifts in a high-energy, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment.
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distractions.
• Strong written and oral communication about job responsibilities.
• Good business acumen and weekend/night/holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• You are the head coach of a talented group of Techs, hiring, training, developing, and retaining the best team.
• Create a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
• Keep arcade equipment maintained and in proper working order; perform daily store maintenance.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and strive for 100% game playability.
• Repair games on the fly and support guest satisfaction at all times.

THE AMUSEMENT MANAGER: a technical expert who keeps our games in "ideal playing conditions." Providing leadership to our Game Technicians while positively impacting the business and providing excellent guest service.

• You love working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted Restaurant/Entertainment scene
• Able to diagnose and repair the operations of amusement arcade games and virtual reality games
• You have a friendly, engaging management style that our guests and employees would enjoy
• You can handle 100K days while walking five miles a shift & working an average of 50-hour work weeks
• You can communicate with the team members and guests in a way that inspires FUN!

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
• Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all job responsibilities
• Strong business acumen
• The ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
