Job summary

Dave & Buster's, Inc. in Canton, OH, is seeking an Amusement Manager to lead a skilled team of Game Technicians, diagnose and repair arcade and VR games, and drive exceptional guest experiences.

You will guide operations in a fast-paced restaurant/entertainment environment, maintaining equipment and adherence to maintenance programs while fostering a fun, guest-centric culture. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment.
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Head coach of the Tech team, responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining staff.
• Maintain arcade equipment and ensure 100% game playability.
• Adhere to preventative maintenance programs and store upkeep.
• Provide safe, clean, and engaging guest experiences across the venue.

Job Description: THE AMUSEMENT MANAGER: a technical expert who keeps our games in "ideal playing conditions.” Providing leadership to our Game Technicians while positively impacting the business and providing excellent guest service.

• Able to diagnose and repair the operations of amusement arcade games and virtual reality games

• You can handle 100K days while walking five miles a shift & working an average of 50-hour work weeks

Requirements:

• 21+ years of age
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment
• Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
• Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all job responsibilities
• Strong business acumen
• The ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays

What will you be doing daily?

• You are the head coach of a talented group of Techs, and you are responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining the best team possible
• Create a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for all D&B Guests and staff
• Keep arcade equipment maintained and in proper working order
• Adhere to all outlined preventative maintenance programs
• Monitor and perform daily store maintenance as instructed
• Strive for 100% "game playability" and repair games on the fly
