Job summary

Reddy Ice Corporation in Omaha is seeking a seasoned Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our plant operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, read blueprints, and apply lean methods to reduce downtime and improve processing times.

Demonstrated safety discipline and ability to mentor others in equipment use are essential. Ideal candidates have 6–8 years in industrial maintenance with relevant certifications; ammonia refrigeration experience is required.

Qualifications

• Heavy industrial maintenance knowledge and practice.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical docs.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment and troubleshoot failures.
• Operate processing machinery and reduce downtime where needed.
• Apply root-cause analysis to identify improvements.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and service equipment.
• Coach others in tool and equipment usage.
• Follow safety protocols and complete required checklists.
