Job summary

Toledo Ice Cream, a DFA-owned brand, seeks skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Maintenance Techs to maintain ammonia refrigeration equipment and related systems. This role covers electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tasks, with both planned and unplanned maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience with ammonia.
• Minimum one year experience in an industrial maintenance role, preferably food and beverage industry.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC and HVAC systems.
• Able to inspect equipment, identify issues, and take corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continued operation of ammonia refrigeration equipment by completing planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Work in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic capacities.
• Communicate findings and recommended improvements clearly.
