Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment and facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, read blueprints, and apply safety standards to keep ice production efficient and safe.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical skills, ability to work nights/weekends as needed, and a mindset for continuous improvement and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English (safety rules, manuals, procedures).
• Strong safety mindset with high attention to detail.
• Proactive in identifying maintenance issues and implementing countermeasures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Operate processing machinery and reduce downtime.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical docs for maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic electrical/electronic maintenance and safety checks.
• Assist with facility upkeep and minor repairs as needed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lean practices.
