Job summary

Raley’s is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to support our distribution centers with electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance responsibilities. The role involves serving as chief engineer by organizing and prioritizing tasks while providing technical training to other engineers.

This on-site position requires knowledge of AC electrical systems, motor control, electronics, refrigeration, and related equipment in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining complex refrigeration, electrical and mechanical systems in industrial settings.
• Ability to plan preventive maintenance and lead technicians.
• Knowledge of safety practices and compliance in hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evaluate refrigeration, electrical and mechanical equipment for reliability.
• Inspect, test, calibrate sensors and safety equipment per blueprints and manuals.
• Organize and prioritize preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Direct technicians in analyzing and repairing system components.
• Maintain HVAC systems and insulation integrity.
• Participate in safety meetings and on-site construction projects.
• Apply energy management practices to reduce costs.
