Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2.5 years of related experience in maintenance, refrigeration, or an industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and routine maintenance tasks.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration fundamentals and the refrigeration cycle.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on maintenance experience and tool use.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, and AMU systems at the Grand Forks site.
• Keep work area clean and ensure work orders are completed.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies.
• Monitor refrigeration logs, fire protection data, and related recorders.
• Assist two-person crews on ammonia facility tasks and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies and support plant evacuation procedures as needed.
• Support the progress of the plant process safety management system.
