Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, or 4 years direct experience in similar environment.
• RETA Certification or willingness to obtain; strong knowledge areas include ammonia refrigeration, engine/boiler systems, electrical/motor controls, instrumentation, PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, mechanical systems, maintenance planning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Refrigeration/Boiler Technician on a rotating 12-hour shift (2-2-3).
• Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
• Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities and maintain clear communication with operations.
• Respond to unplanned/emergency work requests promptly.
• Adhere to food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Support safety leadership and work independently as needed.
