Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration/Boiler Technician in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves performing refrigeration/boiler duties, assisting maintenance on a rotating 12-hour shift, and ensuring safety and compliance on site.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years in industrial maintenance or 4 years direct experience; RETA certification is a plus. Strong teamwork, troubleshooting, and independent work capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 1+ year related experience in industrial maintenance or food manufacturing environment.
4 years direct experience in industrial maintenance/food manufacturing maintenance environment.
Retail? RETA Certification preferred or required.
Experience areas include ammonia refrigeration, engine & boiler systems, electricity & motor controls, controls & instrumentation, PLC/Software & hardware, pneumatics & hydraulics, mechanical systems, maintenance planning, site utilities, system analysis & troubleshooting, pipefitting & welding, machining, and metal fabrication.
Basic computer skills and ability to work independently are required.
Night shift rotating 2-2-3 twelve hour schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of Refrigeration/Boiler Technician and assist maintenance on shift.
Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities and safety leadership.
Maintain communication with operations and respond to unplanned/emergency work.
Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
Stay motivated and work independently.
