Connectly Recruiting seeks an Ammonia Refrigeration/Boiler Technician for Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves performing refrigeration/boiler duties, supporting maintenance on a rotating 12-hour schedule, and collaborating with the team to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Ideal candidates will have a GED or HS diploma with 1+ years in industrial maintenance (or 4 years' related experience) and RETA-certified or able to obtain RETA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ years in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment.
• RETA Certification or ability to attain RETA within role.
• Experience in ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler/engine systems.
• Strong electrical/motor controls knowledge; instrumentation and PLC/hardware understanding.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Refrigeration/Boiler Technician and assist maintenance on shift.
• Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
• Conduct routine audits and inspections of equipment.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities and safety leadership.
• Communicate openly with operations and respond to unplanned/emergency work requests.
• Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Education

High School Diploma or GED + 1+ years industrial maintenance experience

RETA Certification (or ability to attain)
