Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration/Boiler Technician in Sioux Falls, SD. The role involves performing refrigeration and boiler maintenance and supporting a rotating 12-hour shift schedule.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 1+ years of related experience or 4 years of direct maintenance experience in a food manufacturing setting, plus RETA certification and strong safety leadership.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years in industrial maintenance or 4 years direct maintenance/work experience in food manufacturing.
Experience should include RETA certification, ammonia refrigeration, engine/boiler systems, controls and instrumentation.
Requires basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Perform duties of a Refrigeration/Boiler Technician and assist maintenance on shift.
Demonstrate strong safety leadership and follow safe work practices.
Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities.
Maintain open communication with operations.
Respond to unplanned/emergency work promptly.
Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
Work independently and stay motivated.
