Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration/Boiler Technician in Sioux Falls, SD. The role is a full-time hourly position offering a 12-hour rotating night shift (2-2-3).

You will perform refrigeration and boiler maintenance, work with operations, and support safety and food-safety practices on site. Requirements include a GED or High School diploma with 1+ years in industrial maintenance or 4 years direct experience, RETA certification, and strong mechanical/controls knowledge.

• RETA Certification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Have or be able to attain RETA certification.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and follow safe work practices.
• Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
• Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities.
• Maintain open communication with operations.
• Respond to unplanned/emergency work requests promptly.
• Follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Work independently on rotating night shift (2-2-3, 12-hour).
