Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL seeks a PSM Specialist to manage the Safety and Compliance program for ammonia refrigeration systems. You will organize documentation, train associates and contractors, review MOCs, PSSRs, and PHA activities, and lead the 14 elements of PSM.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, ability to work across shifts, and the capacity to read drawings, manage SAP records, and support audits. A commitment to safety and GMPs is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Ability to obtain medical clearance to wear respiratory protection within two weeks of accepting the offer.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain authorization to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating, organizing, and maintaining PSM program, manuals, and resources for ammonia refrigeration systems and personnel.
• Ensuring compliance with PSM, RMP, and all regulations.
• Reviewing new capabilities or processes prior to implementation.
• Organizing and providing PSM mandated training to associates and contractors.
• Reviewing and assisting with MOCs, PSSRs, and PHA activities.
• Leading the 14 elements of PSM and supporting audits.
• Maintaining SAP documentation for maintenance per PSM.
