Job summary

Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a PSM Coordinator to organize and maintain the Process Safety Management program, focusing on ammonia refrigeration and compliance with EPA/OSHA regulations.

The role requires strong leadership to manage the 14 elements of PSM and to provide site-wide training to employees and contractors. You will read blueprints, participate in MOCs, PSSRs, and PHA activities, and act as the primary responder during audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; able to communicate in English.
• Minimum 4 years of refrigeration mechanic experience and ammonia refrigeration knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/P&ID drawings.
• Strong leadership and training abilities; capable of training others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide PSM mandated training to employees and contractors.
• Assist with MOCs, PSSRs, and PHA activities for safety compliance.
• Lead and manage all 14 elements of PSM; review drawings and policies.
• Serve as primary responder during PSM audits and inspections.
• Support refrigeration/safety operations and attend LEPC meetings.
