Job summary

EY Consulting is seeking an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program Management Senior Manager to lead AMI initiatives for Power & Utilities clients across North America. You will shape strategy, drive large-scale deployments, and guide multi-workstream teams across PMO, organizational change, field deployment, and benefits realization.

You’ll build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders, oversee complex delivery, and ensure quality, risk management and commercial discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or related field
• 10+ years AMI program management experience
• Experience leading North American AMI deployment across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization
• Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs
• Approximately three or more years of consulting experience, including client service delivery and stakeholder management
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance delivery
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meetings, and delivery momentum in dynamic environments
• Strong executive communication, presentation, analytical and decision-making skills
• Experience leading multi-vendor program delivery with milestone-based fees and change control
• Business development contribution for AMI or utility programs
• Experience engaging senior utility stakeholders within complex governance environments
• Experience leading large, multi-workstream teams with onshore and offshore delivery
• Willingness to travel 65–80%

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI program management pursuits and delivery engagements with emphasis on quality and commercial discipline
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, requirements, and field deployment
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, and executive reporting
• Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics
• Develop AMI delivery methods and coach workstream leads to scalable delivery
