Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) seeks a dynamic Program Coordinator/Director to oversee the daily operations of the CVCC Amherst Center and serve as the primary administrator for the Amherst County Early College Program. This role coordinates academic programming, student support services, and dual enrollment initiatives while fostering strong partnerships between CVCC and the Amherst community.

• Bachelor's degree in education, leadership, higher ed, or related field.
• Experience coordinating educational programs and student services.
• Collaborates with K-12 and higher education partners.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience planning educational programs, student activities, or outreach.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to analyze information, prepare reports, and maintain records.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Amherst Center.
• Coordinate Amherst County Early College Program including recruitment and enrollment.
• Collaborate with school and college personnel to deliver courses and support services.
• Coordinate student services: admissions, advising, financial aid, accessibility services.
• Assist students and families in understanding program requirements and pathways.
• Monitor student progress and address barriers with school and college staff.
• Coordinate orientation sessions, meetings, and student engagement events.
• Collect and analyze program data; prepare enrollment and outcomes reports.
• Promote CVCC programs to prospective students and community.
• Monitor resources and assist with budgeting for center activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Supervise and support staff and instructors.
• Perform other duties to support CVCC's mission.
