Central Virginia Community College ( CVCC ) seeks a dynamic Program Coordinator/Director to oversee the daily operations of the CVCC Amherst Off-site Center and serve as the primary administrator for the Amherst County Early College Program. This position coordinates academic programming, student support services, and dual enrollment initiatives while fostering strong partnerships between CVCC and the Amherst community.
The Program Coordinator/Director works collaboratively with college administrators, faculty, staff, school division leaders, counselors, teachers, students, and families to support student success, expand educational opportunities, and ensure the effective operation of the Early College Program.
The position serves as a key liaison between the college and local public schools, promoting seamless transitions from high school to post-secondary education.
This position may require day, evening, and occasional weekend hours.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
