Job description

Job Summary

Performs assembly of sub‑assemblies and inspection systems containing electronic, mechanical and inspection components by following work instructions, production drawings to required quality standard in line with the planned production schedule.

Essential Functions
  • Sub‑assembly and system assembly in line with Quality ISO 9001 procedures
  • Contribute towards achieving the daily production plan.
  • Follow work instructions & process sheets & communicate any deficiencies/ambiguities to your line manager (supervisor).
  • Maintain the working standards in line with operational organisation and the 5S policies.
  • Ensure that all relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures are observed.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required by the business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent manual dexterity.
  • Basic understanding of Electrical principals.
  • A flexible and proactive approach.
  • The ability to respond to changes in demand and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to produce assemblies following work instructions and to self‑check own work.
  • Ability to use electrical test equipment for example multi meters.
  • Able to work in a fast‑paced, lean environment.
  • Experience in computer‑based material control/business systems and excellent team skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate and disciplined in maintaining an orderly work area.
  • Ability to apply the principals of the 5 “S” methodology.
Minimum Education and Work Experience Required
  • Good hand/eye coordination and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Ability to work with computer‑based systems for data entry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in reading and writing in English.
  • Minimum of two years related experience.
