Job summary

William & Mary’s Civic & Community Engagement office seeks a part-time AmeriCorps Program Coordinator to support daily administrative operations and the AmeriCorps program members.

The coordinator will manage the full member lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, placement, and offboarding. They will liaise with AmeriCorps partner sites to ensure effective program delivery and support, with a focus on education and youth development.

Qualifications

  • Experience with managing administrative processes (approving timesheets, processing background checks, maintaining records).
  • Experience with MS Office applications and comfort with new technology.
  • Strong organizational skills for program coordination and implementation.
  • Preferred: a bachelor's degree in an education-related field.

  • Data Management: Monitor participant engagement and progress; manage data in data systems.

This role is responsible for managing the full AmeriCorps member lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training, placement, and offboarding.Key responsibilities include processing background checks, coordinating training schedules and tracking participation, managing timesheets, and supporting communication and coordination with AmeriCorps service sites.
