This person will report to the Director of Precollegiate Learner Programs in the Center for Gifted Education at William and Mary, and work closely with the Administrative Operations Specialist and camp staff to ensure that the infrastructure is in place to support all aspects of the program. The Assistant Coordinators will be required to live in the dorms during the respective program. This is a pool position that will only be accessed if needed. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. We will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.**Job Description:****Required Qualifications:*** High School Graduate or equivalent.* Demonstrated ability to work and multitask effectively in a complex and fast-paced setting.* Demonstrated ability to be well-organized.* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.* Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.**Preferred Qualifications:*** College graduate or graduate student.* Experience working with K-12 students.* Ability to drive a golf cart (completed W&M golf cart training).**Conditions of Employment:*** Hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed on average 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.* This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
