Job summary

The DREAM Program invites you to serve as a Mentor Coordinator, supporting Youth Service Managers and recruiting volunteer mentors from college campuses through the Village Mentoring program. You will provide holistic support for mentees, training resources for mentors, and relationship-building across chapters.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident at AmeriCorps eligibility.
• Be at least 17 years old at service commencement or an out-of-school youth 16+.
• Criminal history checks (NSOPW, statewide, FBI) and government ID verification will be conducted.
• Commitment to the entire service term and to DREAM's mission.
• Ability to regularly meet in person and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Youth Services Manager with needs assessments and communication between community, staff, and mentors.
• Ensure volunteer mentors receive necessary resources and training for a high-quality experience.
• Build relationships with each mentor and mentee in the chapter served.
• Manage recruitment, preparation for mentees of graduating mentors, and chapter wellness planning.
• Attend weekly Village Mentoring program and partner with regional teams.
