Job summary

The DREAM Program, Inc. seeks a dedicated Mentor Coordinator to support Youth Service Managers, recruit and train volunteer mentors, and oversee the Village Mentoring program.

You will build strong relationships with mentors and mentees across chapters, ensuring high-quality experiences and compliance for youth documents and background checks. Expect 10–15 hours per week in late afternoon/evenings, with some weekends.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident required.
• 21+ minimum age at commencement of service.
• Criminal history checks (NSOPW, state checks, FBI) with government photo ID.
• Commitment to full term and DREAM AmeriCorps mission.
• Desire to enhance skills and support DREAM youth.
• Willingness to travel to campus sites and work with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Support Youth Service Managers and recruit/train volunteer mentors.
• Engage with Regional Director to assess mentee needs and coordinate with community partners.
• Provide resources and training to mentors for high‑quality mentoring.
• Attend weekly Village Mentoring program and chapter meetings.
