Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manager I Technical Sales, Training Operations for the Americas, based in Raleigh, NC. Hybrid work with 3 days in office, 10–25% travel.

Shape and scale a regional training organization to strengthen customer capability and support growth. Role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on execution across product, installation, and certification training, modernizing the portfolio and expanding fee‑based services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate training, technical services, field services, product management, customer enablement, or related function.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience leading large‑scale technical training environments.
• Experience designing and delivering technical, product, installation, certification, or customer‑facing learning programs.
• Demonstrated ability to set direction, lead through influence, and deliver results in a matrixed, cross‑functional organization.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategy: Own the Americas training service portfolio, operating model, annual roadmap, governance, delivery standards, facilities, certification framework, and supporting materials.
• Build market‑relevant learning: Develop curricula across TE Energy product lines, covering product capabilities, applications, installation methods, quality expectations, safety, and industry trends.
• Modernize delivery: Create engaging classroom, digital, blended, and hands‑on experiences for employees, customers, installers, and business partners.
• Grow the business: Expand fee‑based training, certification, supervision services, and training materials using approved pricing structures.
• Improve customer outcomes: Increase customer and installer competence, certification quality, and satisfaction through consistent, high‑value learning experiences.
• Reduce risk: Translate field performance and quality data into preventive training and updated standards.
