Job summary

ABB's Service Division in Cary, NC is seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist to deliver and support the EL Services training curriculum in North America. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the training center, ensuring safety compliance, equipment readiness, and accurate certification tracking for participants.

This role requires strong collaboration with product, factory, and services teams, plus the ability to develop new training content and coordinate with 3rd party

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field or higher education is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with focus on Power Delivery equipment and training, or 7+ years in field service with related experience, or HS diploma/GED plus 12 years related experience.
• Experience developing technical content, delivering trainings, and instructor development materials.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support technical training needs for Services North America.
• Support the EL Services Strategic Training Leader to meet priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Services Training center in Cary, NC; ensure safety compliance and equipment management.
• Develop and maintain the training curriculum, coordinate with third-party content teams, and manage course schedules.
• Ensure instructors meet requirements and that attendance, delivery, and certifications are tracked.
