Job summary

Sedgman is seeking an Executive Vice President, Americas to lead our minerals processing and EPCM delivery across North and South America from its base in the United States. You will shape growth, engage key clients, and drive governance and profitability across the region.

This role requires strategic leadership, a strong network in the mining sector, and the ability to travel extensively to oversee studies, delivery and partnerships. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer or technically aligned leader.
• Senior executive experience leading regional businesses and complex project environments.
• Proven commercial leadership with P&L accountability, contracts, risk and governance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead business development, client engagement and market growth across complex technical environments.
• Strong relationships and networks across North American and South American mining sectors.
• Experience operating across regions, cultures and matrixed stakeholder groups.
• Commercially astute, outcome-focused, and able to translate strategy into execution.
• Collaborative, decisive and adaptable, with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, inclusion and high-performance culture.
• Willingness to travel extensively across North and South America.
• Desirable: ability to communicate in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sedgman’s Americas business strategy and executive leadership across growth, delivery, commercial performance and operations.
• Develop and convert a strong regional opportunity pipeline across North and South America with sustainable order book growth.
• Strengthen market position in minerals processing for critical minerals and complex EPCM projects across the Americas.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships across Tier 1, mid-tier and mining organisations.
• Provide leadership across studies, engineering delivery, tenders, proposals and submission governance.
• Own regional P&L, profitability, cash flow, cost control and governance compliance.
• Identify acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic alliances for market penetration.
• Build and empower senior leadership teams across the US, Canada and select South American countries.
