Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group seeks a Director, Development, AMER to shape the strategic growth of its portfolio across the Americas. You will identify and secure development opportunities, lead negotiations, and act as a trusted representative of the Rosewood brand with owners and partners.

You will collaborate with Feasibility & Business Intelligence, Design & Project Services, Legal, Operations, and Finance to advance deals from opportunity through to completion, ensuring delivery of high‑impact

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality development, real estate, finance, consulting, or feasibility environments.
Commercially astute with ability to structure and negotiate complex management agreements.
Credible and polished when engaging with owners and developers at a senior level.
Strong knowledge of hospitality real estate markets and regional development dynamics.
Entrepreneurial, proactive and motivated to identify and progress new opportunities.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue development opportunities to expand Rosewood Hotel Group’s brands across AMER.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, investors, and strategic partners.
Evaluate sites, concepts, and project proposals, providing clear recommendations on brand fit and commercial viability.
Lead the preparation of business proposals, pitches, Letters of Intent, Term Sheets, and RFP responses.
Negotiate commercial terms of management agreements in line with company guidelines and market best practice.
Act as the lead coordinator across internal teams to progress deals from initial opportunity through to conclusion.
Represent the Group at industry events and forums, acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
Support deal handover and ongoing coordination through pre-opening phases to ensure successful project delivery.
