Cisco Systems, Inc in the Americas Service Provider team seeks an Area Sales Leader / Senior Director to unify and scale go-to-market strategy across US Carrier Operations, Canada and LATAM. You will own the 12–24+ month business plan and drive an 18–36 month long-range outlook while leading a 37-person sales organization.

The role requires deep telecom and service provider sales experience, executive relationship skills, and a proven track record mapping architecture to customer planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of technology sales and leadership experience
• 4+ years of direct experience managing people managers in a tech sales org
• Experience in Telecommunications and Service Provider infrastructure domains (IP Routing, Optical Networking, Metro Ethernet, Backhaul, Carrier Transport)
• Experience managing revenue or bookings portfolios of $100M+ annually
• Experience negotiating multi-year enterprise software contracts with C-suite/EVP executives

• Achieve annual bookings quotas of $500M+ and drive architectural penetration across the Americas theater
