Job summary

Intermountain Health in Mountain View, California seeks a Senior Practice Manager to lead ambulatory care operations, ensuring patient safety, quality of care, equity, and a strong patient experience. You will supervise front-office staff, influence a matrix organization, and guide hiring, coaching, and performance reviews across clinics.

The role requires collaboration with physicians and APPs, oversight of 10–30 clinicians and 3–7 clinics, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve and address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership for ambulatory care operations, focusing on patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance, patient experience, equity, access, and financial stewardship.
• Make employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions; support ancillary services.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and multiple departments; oversee clinics and staff across sites.
