Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Tech III to serve as a dedicated OR scrub in a busy orthopedic practice within the Rock Hill area. The role supports cases at multiple facilities, with a home base in the Rock Hill ambulatory office.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of operating room experience, CST certification, and strong knowledge of instrumentation and aseptic technique. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or military training in Surgical Technology/OR Specialist.
• Minimum of 5 years of operating room experience as a surgical technologist.
• Current CST certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in surgical techniques and required resources.
• Functions as a dedicated OR scrub and supports a fast-paced orthopedic environment.
• Prepares instrument sets and ensures sterility for scheduled and emergency cases.
• Maintains instrument and supply inventory and orders appropriately to avoid overstocking.
• Assists in patient preparation and coordination of care with the surgical team.
