Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of aseptic technique and its application.
• Experience assisting in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Ability to assist in room turnover and procedures per department policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterility of surgical supplies and proper documentation of charges.
• Monitor sterilization activities and ensure proper usage of supplies.
• Participate in training, meetings, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in development of policies, procedures, and standards.
• May serve as a clinical resource or preceptor as needed.
