Qualifications

• 2-3 years in medical or office setting.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical teams, supply chain, revenue integrity and PSRs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ambulatory surgical scheduling, including scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling procedures while ensuring timely patient access to care.
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and clinical staff to communicate scheduling needs, procedural information, test results, and appointment updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by answering incoming calls, managing voicemail requests, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving scheduling concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of patient registration, insurance verification, and healthcare coverage information to support efficient care delivery and reimbursement.
• Review, validate, reconcile, and post surgical logs, charges, case times, and bill-only submissions in EPIC to ensure accurate charge capture, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical, Supply Chain, Revenue Integrity, and other operational teams to resolve documentation discrepancies, support CDM maintenance, and improve billing accuracy.
• Process and post surgical charges and bill-only submissions in EPIC, ensuring accurate charge capture, timely payment processing, and appropriate revenue recognition.
• Provide backup support for Patient Service Representative functions, including patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling responsibilities.
