Qualifications

• 2-3 years in medical or office setting.
• Outstanding organizational skills, typing 35-45 WPM, medical transcription required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule for hospital outpatient-based services, including changes and cancellations.
• Interface with patients and clinical staff to communicate results and scheduling needs.
• Support check-out, pre-registration, and scheduling procedures after office visits.
• Provide accurate information to patients regarding test results and reschedule as needed.
• Answer calls, direct to the correct party, check voicemails and return missed calls.
• Escalate operational or patient complaints to leadership.
• Knowledge of medical insurance and billing processes.
• Work well under stress with a strong focus on customer service.
