UCI Health in Orange County is seeking an experienced Medical Registration Specialist responsible for patient registration and scheduling for surgery. You will coordinate with off-site practices, verify funding, and respond to patient inquiries to resolve issues.

The role requires strong English communication, familiarity with medical terminology, Excel/MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work weekends and holidays while maintaining positive relationships across the Health System.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must demonstrate general understanding of medical terminology.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Office.
• Ability to travel to off-site physician practices.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to interpret and understand various medical insurance plans and make accurate determinations regarding coverage.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
