Atlantic Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery team in Morristown, NJ. This full-time day shift 8:30am to 4:30pm responsibilities include nursing process, patient assessment, documentation in Epic, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements: RN license in NJ, BLS, minimum 2 years ambulatory experience, BSN preferred, EPIC Ambulatory experience. The role emphasizes patient privacy, safety, and adherence to PRIDE values; benefits and total rewards

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ clinical ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
American Heart Association BLS credential required; RN license valid in New Jersey.
Knowledge of EPIC Ambulatory and related electronic health record use.

Responsabilités

Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Coordinate patient assessments and re-assessments to improve quality outcomes.
Document in Epic and maintain patient confidentiality.
Triage phone calls and schedule appointments based on urgency.
Maintain a safe environment and adhere to patient privacy standards and PRIDE values.
