Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a registered nurse for the ambulatory Surgical Oncology Physician Practice in Morristown, NJ. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, triage patients, coordinate perioperative plans, educate patients and families, and maintain EMR documentation in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating referrals, pre/postoperative care, and communication of findings and treatment plans with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• Valid NJ RN License is required.
• Oncology or surgical oncology ambulatory care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and triage patients in person and by telephone.
• Coordinate preoperative and postoperative care for surgical oncology patients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on procedures, recovery, wound care, and medications.
• Coordinate referrals and testing to ensure timely care.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient education in the EMR.
